"Dear Cami Dews,
You are a dream come true! I have been
searching for the perfect JP to marry us and I finally found YOU!
My name is Sandra and my fiancé is Michael. We have been together
for 20 years and have finally decided to get married. We have
wished for this day for many years and it has finally come. I have
been searching and searching for the perfect JP and then I found you on
findajp.com. There is no one more perfect to marry me than you.
I am a huge animal lover and over the years I have saved as many as I
could. I have saved many animals anywhere from dogs to a little
baby pet rat that was thrown out in the cold to die. I have had a
blind dog, a deaf dog, a cat that was terrified of all people and a dog
that was throw out to starve and die. I have also had a baby pet
rat I named Walter after my dad who passed away. We ended up
having to have one of his legs amputated, so he became our beloved 3
legged rat. Last but not least, my sweet little dog Cujo who was
beaten and starved near dear when I got him. As you can see
I love all animals and that is why I want more than anything for YOU to
marry us. We have picked the wedding date of July 21, 2007, because that is my mothers birthday. My mother
passed away 20 years ago of cancer and it means the world to me to
get married on her birthday. My mother is the one who taught me to
love all animals and it would mean the world to me if you could be the
one to marry us on our special day. Please, please tell me you are
free that day! I am praying that you can do this for us. We
are more than happy to make a donation to an animal in need.
Thank you for your time and I pray you will be
available to marry us. Praying to hear from you soon."

"Hi! My
fiancé and I are
searching for a wedding officiant for our outdoor ceremony. I found
your website and LOVE the idea of donating money towards animal
charities! My children and I always go to animal shelters and bring
treats for the animals and walk the dogs, etc. We adopted our 2 dogs
from Animals for Life in Middlebury too!"

* "Hello!
I am getting married
in June at the Barnes Chapel in Bristol. I saw your information on your
webpage, and as an avid animal lover myself, I would be only too glad to
donate money to an animal in need! I would love to speak with you
regarding your services as a JP. Please email me if you have any
availability. I look forward to speaking with you soon!"
Sincerely,
Dawn

"Hi Cami,
Thanks for the quick reply! I have visited your website and I love
the idea that there is a donation made to animals. I am quite the
animal lover! We have a theme of a "green" environmentally friendly
wedding, and I think this would fit in perfectly! Our situation is
that we have a close friend that we would like to have officiate at the
ceremony, but we need a Connecticut justice of the peace to be there as
a witness. He was going to try an become one, but apparently it is
quite a process! Would you be open to this idea? Please let me
know your thoughts/ideas.
Thanks so much!
Kristin

"Hello,
I was wondering if you
are available in October for a wedding ceremony. We are getting
married Berlin. I love the idea of getting the donations instead of
full payment, and would be honored if you can perform my ceremony.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello,
My fiancé, Jason,
and I were wondering if you'd be available for our wedding.
We found
your website, and really like the idea of donating half the money to the
animal shelter.
Have a great
day,
Anne-Marie

We are
considering eloping, but keeping the plan for the "formal" ceremony
for next year. I saw your terms and really liked the idea of the
donation to the shelter, and was just wondering if this would be
something you could consider on such short notice.
Please let me know. Thanks
Allan

Hi there!
I saw your website and am very interested in having you perform me and
my finance's wedding. First of all, we are HUGE
animal lovers, I
have 3 cats of my own, so to know that some of this is going to help
animals is such an idea I love.
If you are available I would love to have a little more information
from you about the services you offer etc... and if I could I'd love
to book you as soon as possible so I can get this ball rolling (so to
speak) haha. I've read your entire site and you sound wonderful, so if
you could get back to me and let me know so we can see where to go
from here.
Thanks so much!
Renee

"Dear Cami,
We just want to let you know that we are making a
grant of $200.00 (from our fund with the Connecticut Community
Foundation) in your name to the ASPCA to honor the work that you
do for animal welfare. We so much appreciate the personal way in which
you performed our wedding ceremony. You made the day extra special
and all the more meaningful because your fee went to a cause we
hold dear as well. Thank you again and we wish you continued success
in your endeavors!"
Sincerely,
Mike and Lindsay, Carmen and Dave
"P.S. We thought you might be pleased to
know that we have adopted to kittens, now that we are in our new home!
Carmen and David adopted 3, 2 for them and 1 for Mike's Gradma."

"Thanx for the follow-up. It's nice to have the pix. :)
Hope your visit (next weekend, right?) goes great! Thank you so
much for everything Saturday! The roses part was a nice surprise.
Not only were they pretty, but I *really* like the
if-you-can't-find-the-words-use-a-rose idea. Two such stubborn
people can get kinda grumpy w/ one another from time to time...;) (I'm
no expert, but...) it seemed to go plenty smoothly for having been put
together so quickly. And I liked the things you said and the tone
was perfect -- taking the day /event/ concept seriously, but not
necessarily every second. In short: I'm so glad we found your
site! If I can think of an excuse to keep in touch, I will...
:) Maybe to hear about the Out to Pasture visit, at least."
Thanx again,
-Kat

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and thank you for your love of
animals. I wish there were more people in the world like you."
Take care and thank you!

much for your kind donation to help Dusty. He is scheduled to have
his surgery later this month. Without your kind donation, his surgery
would not have been possible. Dusty says THANK YOU from the bottom

This money will be used to pay for Blackie's medical fees. Every animal deserves good health, love and a
caring home. Four Legged Life Savers, Inc. provides assistance for
low cost spay and neutering so that someday every animal born will have
a loving permanent home waiting for him/her. We at Four Legged Life Savers, Inc. work
tirelessly each day to help decrease the number of unnecessary
euthanizations of companion animals due to the pet overpoplulation. On behalf of the animals, please accept my best
wishes and thank you once again for your most thoughtful and generous
gesture."

"Thanks for the donation towards Jerry's care.
We can definately use it. This poor boy has had quite an ordeal in
his young life so far. jerry visited UGA recently and underwent a
series of tests to determine the cause of his small size. The vet
determined it is not a liver shunt which is what we all feared.
Blood work has been sent to a lab to try to determine if it is an
endocrine problem. We should have the results next week. The good thing is that many of the vet techs and
one of the vets have expressed an interest in adopting him. Who
knows how it it will turn out. What we do know is this little guy
grabs the heart of every person he meets."

"Your generous support is critical to our ongoing
efforts on behalf of companion animals. Your commitment allows us
to continue to fight animal cruelty, provide low-cost care for needy
animals, pass and enforce animal welfare legislation and better educate
the public on responsible pet parenting. Please know that you are
not only special to the ASPCA and the animals we serve, but crucial to
our mission. We look forward to serving you."

"Thank you for your generous donation of $100.00.
As always, it makes such a difference for the animals. There are
no fewer thank 1, 500 dogs and cats and other animals from all over the
country at the sanctuary on any given day - most of them in need of
special attention. Your $100.00 donation helps make sure we can
give them the best care possible. Of course, the work of Best
Friends reaches far beyond the sanctuary itself. Bes Friends works
with communities across the nation to set up no more homeless pets
programs that will soon bring and end altogether the killing of
abandoned animals in shelters. Kindness to animals makes a better
world for all of us. So thank you once again for your caring, and may
all good things be yours in return for your kindness."
Thank you for making it all possible.

"On behalf of Roaring Brook Nature Center, thank
you very much for your generous contribution in support of our wildlife
rehabilitation program. Your gift of tow hundred dollars ($200.00)
will assist us in carrying for many of the hundreds of animals that find
their way to our door each year. They grey squirrel that was brought to us and is
now with one of our volunteers. The squirrel has a roommate and we
are hopeful that both young squirrels can be released to the wild by the
end of this month. I must tell you that many nature centers have
closed their rehabilitation programs due to the cost in materials and
staff time. We have chosen to maintain our program for area
residents, primarily because of individuals like you who support our
efforts. If we may be of further service to you in the future,
please do not hesitate to contact me."
Sincerely,
Jay Kaplan, Director

most compassionate gift of $46.00 to The ASPCA. Your selflessness
